Shortly after the founding of the Society, TDSS established a long-term collaboration with the College of Control Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University (ZJU) on hosting an annual research immersion programme in Singapore. Each year, TDSS put up a 6-day intensive programme to expose the undergraduate students of ZJU to the latest research and development in Singapore.
